We got to see the Red Panda.

As soon as we left McDonald's the kids were asleep......
We all enjoyed the zoo today. Sofia has already asked when are we going back to the zoo. Both kids really like the animals.....

Visitors

I had to add this one. Francis the Queen of the family. I asked her to lay across the brothers laps.... I think its a Cute picture......

Sofia and Drew got to meet some family from out of state. Steve Aunt, Uncle and Cousins were up from florida. Grandpa Ed's brother and sister in law were here from Arizonia. We had fun seeing everyone.

Drew is officially ours!!!

Today, we went to court to finalize Drew's adoption. He is now a US Citizen and officially ours. Even though he was ours the day he was placed in our arms. Today, it was made legal. We celebrated by making Bulgogi. We thank God for both our kids. They are both gifts from God.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the present....

The Kids really like Grandma's and Grandpa's Kitty!!!

Sofia wanted Grandpa to pet Sam. She told him you put your hand out to pet the kitty. Drew loves the kitty's. He wants to catch them so bad, so he can cuddle with them. The kitty Grandma and Grandpa got him for his surgery goes every where with him. I hope his kitty never gets dirty, or lost I don't know what we would do.

Who needs toys... When you can play with mommy's flip flops. Grandpa said he needs his own pair. I guess we need to go shopping....!!) I've been wondering why we have spent so much money on toys. Our kids don't seem to play with toys. They would rather play with something that isn't a toy. Like shoes, purses, phones, TV remote, etc.....

Drew taking one of his power naps. Not really he was up and going within a minute. Grandpa said Drew is like a kitty cat. He has to have something soft to sleep on. He sure does love stuff animals.

Busy Weekend

We had a very busy weekend. So I wanted to update.

On Friday, Steve and I went to Joliet for the nascar race. He had won tickets to both the nationwide and cup race. This was my first and only race. When we got there it was raining. So we stood under a tent for awhile. After the rain stopped, we were able to watch some of the qualifying. Well actually I feel asleep. Yep I fell asleep. I guess that confirms that I can sleep anywhere. When the race started, I didn't know who I was supposed to watch. I was confused. (Which doesn't take much) Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for taking such good care of the kids....

On Saturday, Steve took our neighbor Scott. The kids and I stayed home. Steve and Scott had a good time.

Today, I went to a good friend of the family's 50th wedding renewal of their vows. I asked Judy and Dean what their secret was. They both just laughed. It was nice seeing everyone.

We started the blog July 18th 06. Can you believe that we would of had so much to say? I guess 500 posts in 3 years isn't bad... Right!!! We wanted to thank everyone who has continued to read the blog. We always like reading the comments.. It is such a nice way to keep family and friends updated on our life.

Hope everyone is enjoying the 4th. We had a quiet one. I thought I better take a picture of Drew on his First 4th. I didn't think about there clothes until I decided to take some pictures. I was not even going to attempt to change Drew's clothes.

Drew is in some pain today. Last night was the worst. We had to take off the band aid. (I did) He screamed for about 15 minutes, then went to sleep for 30 minutes. He is getting his Tylenol on a regular basis....

Tonight, Grandma and Grandpa came over to see us. We had pizza, and went for a walk. When we came back Sofia wanted Grandma to fix popcorn. But Grandma and Grandpa had to go home. Thanks for checking on the Grand kids and the pizza....

Drew did very well with his surgery today. I think Daddy is in more pain than Drew. Thank you to everyone who called and emailed us.
