This was taken the day after our wedding. Before our long flight. I sure do miss Hawaii!!!!


Today marks our seventh anniversary of our wedding. I can remember us at the church and at the reception. But most of all I remember getting on a long airplane to Hawaii. Who would have thought that would not be the longest airplane ride. Things have sure changed in that seven years. We have experience lots of good things and not so good things. The best thing that has happen in that seven years is SOFIA.

Birthday Shopping

Sunday we went to the party store to see what kind of party Sofia wanted for her Birthday. Well 45min later we finally had it down to Elmo, Dora and the Backyardigans. Then we got it down to Elmo and the Backyardigans. Daddy even played with the Elmo doll that sang Happy Birthday. She finally walked over and picked up a plate that had the Backyardigans on it. We both said that's the one. We just have to find a bakery that will do the Backyardigans. (Oh I forgot the camera so no pictures of this event) Sofia birthday party is going to be at the Pizza Ranch in Roscoe. We decide that were going to have just immediate family. When she gets a little older we will have a big party with all her friends.

Today Sofia and I went to Grandma and Grandpa's. Daddy was off with Sofia's other Grandpa at a car show. Sofia and I went and played. Grandpa took us for lunch at one of our favorite restaurants The Olive Garden!!!! I don't know what we would do if Sofia didn't like pasta. What do people feed there children if they don't like pasta? Sofia ate the whole bowl and some of the salad and Grandma's soup. After lunch we did a little shopping. It was very very cold -1!!!! I can't wait until spring. Sofia's Grandma and Grandpa T brought daddy home from the car show. They stayed for awhile and played. Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Stacy Uncle Kevin and Brandon leave tomorrow for Florida. When they asked what to bring back for Sofia we said Warm weather.

What has Sofia been up too!!!!

Brandon came over for a play date. Brandon liked Sofia's kitchen set. They had to take a break from all the cooking they did!!!

When Sofia goes to Grandma and Grandpa's house she will first take off her shoes. Then she will go behind the coach and take her socks off. Sofia does some weird things!!!!

14 month Anniversary & Sofia turned 23 month

Yesterday, Sofia turned 23 months. Our little girl will be 2 next month we can't believe it. Where does time go. Sofia is talking more each day. She isn't saying the word NO as much anymore. (Thankfully) When we sing our ABC's she tries so hard to say them also. We can make out certain letters, like A,H,I,J etc. Everyday we do some sort of school things. We do our colors and letters. Sofia loves to color and do puzzles. She is really good at puzzles. Some of the colors she says are Black, Red, Yellow, Blue (I might be forgetting some) We think Sofia is such a blessing to our family. We thank God and her birthmother for giving us such a wonderful child. It just goes to show, God does have a plan.

What an exciting week!!

These are pictures of the tornado that hit Boone County. Steve was working and saw the tornado. Edwards Apple Orchard was hit the worst. These are some of the pictures taken at the apple orchard.

The girls are going into the cleaning business. Grandma is going to show them how it's done. We just haven't come up with a name for the new business.


The "shoe fairy" has been shopping. Sofia got a new pair of Robeez. They have penguin's on them. She can really do Happy Feet now!!!! So far she has kept them on her feet. Sofia likes to be barefoot.

Today we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for Christmas. (Grandma and Grandpa were in Florida visiting Brody, Aunt Leigh and Uncle Nick) We had a fantastic dinner. Then we opened presents. Sofia did actually open one. Sofia and Alyssa played and played.

Happy New Year's

Today we all went outside and played. We took Sofia and the boys for a walk around the block. Sofia loves her new sled. She cried when I stop to take a picture. Sofia also likes to eat snow. Lucky for us she didn't find any brown or yellow snow.
