We got together for a kids Christmas party at the Pickle's house. Rachel read the kids a Christmas story, and then the kids made gingerbread houses. We exchanged gifts and had lunch. We had LOTS and LOTS of fun. Thank you Rachel for having us all over.

BUSY Birthday Weekend!!

For my Birthday, we girls went to see Princess and the frog. Sofia loved the movie. After the movie we went to one of my favorite restaurant. Thanks girls for making my birthday special. (This was Sofia's first time at the theater)

On Saturday, we went to Williams Tree farm, with Steve's family to pick out a Christmas tree. The kids loved playing in the snow. Afterwards we warmed up with some lunch. Thanks guys.

On Sunday, we went to Disney on Ice. What a way to kick off the week before we leave. We had so much fun watching the show. It was nice seeing all our friends there.

Snow Day

This is called the face off........ The boys LOVE LOVE the Snow...........

Sofia told us she was having her after nap snack. A snowball.........
Sofia making snow angles.

POOR DREW!
I took the kids out to play, while daddy snowplowed. Sofia and the boys had fun. Sofia even remember how to make snow angles from last year. Drew on the other hand, did not like the snow. He wanted nothing to do with any of the snow. He cried and wanted me to hold him, so Drew and I went in after about 10 minutes. Sofia stayed out with daddy, she loves the snow.

Happy Gotcha Day Drew

One year ago today we were at O'Hare picking up Drew. Today we were remembering about that day and how much he didn't want to go to daddy, but wanted mommy. When we got home from the airport we had our first meal together, Burger King. Tonight Drew wore the same pajamas that he wore when he came home. (They still fit him!) Drew had some alone time with daddy today watching the Bears WIN, while mommy, grandma, Sofia and Alyssa went to an ornament hanging for grandpa at Hospice. Tonight we went to Chili's for dinner and then went to Target, where Drew got an Elmo phone that he won't stop playing with. After that, grandma and grandpa came over with Drew's gifts, grandma makes ornaments for the kids' gotcha day. Thank you God for everyday and for our little man.

Rockton Christmas Parade

Tonight, we went to Sofia's future in-laws. :) Thank you guys for having us over for dinner. We had a great time. After we had dinner, we went to the parade. The kids really liked it. They got lots of candy. Sofia and Drew were asleep within five minutes after we left. The parade was short only a half hour, but was nice. Thanks you again for letting us come over. Sorry about the mess the kids made in the basement. Thanks Aunt Julie for meeting us at the parade.
