Sofia has a new word!!!!

Today Aunt Julie came over to see us. She had gotten Sofia a Christmas present. Aunt Julie is so sweet. We love her. We talked and played. When Aunt Julie was leaving I asked Sofia if she could say Bye. To our surprise Sofia said Bye Julie. We were both shocked to hear her say "Julie". Sofia said it again and again. I told Julie Sofia must really love you.

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!

Santa was very good to Sofia this year. This morning she woke up to find a Kitchen set. She loved it so much that she didn't want to open anymore gifts. Daddy and Mommy had to open the rest. She did stop for a minute and play with her computer. She also ran around with the doctor kit that grandma and grandpa got her. After we were all done with opening gifts and eating breakfast we went to Grandma and Grandpa T's. She and Brandon had fun running around with Brandon lawn mower. We opened her gifts there also. She liked everything Brandon got. I think they both played with each other gifts more than there's. Tonight we are off to Aunt Tina's. The bottom photo's are of last night at Aunt Tina. Sofia was on the phone with Grandma telling her to bring back nice weather. Santa will have to bring Aunt Tina a Elmo chair.

Grandma and Grandpa are in Florida for the holidays. Brody is a lucky little boy with his four wheeler. I see Brody likes the cookies we baked!!!

These are some of the photo's we got from Kathleen. She took the photo's for the Baby of the year Calendar. Sofia got February for her photo. The photo they picked for the calendar is similar to the last photo. She also got a spot on her birthday. The caption on the calendar says "I want to be a Movie Star" Thank you again for voting.

Cookie Day at Grandma's and Grandpa's

Today was our annual cookie day. We had a late start today do to someone being sick. I took Sofia to the doctors this morning, she has a cold and a ear infection. After the doctors we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house. They had already started to bake by the time we got there. Sofia and Alyssa did get to frost some cookies. Grandpa was so nice and went out to get us all lunch from Sabrossa's. One of our favorite places to eat. The aprons the girls had on were made by Grandma. I need to find a way to post more photo's.

13 month Anniversary & Sofia turned 22 month

Sofia's new things she does or says are: Sofia doesn't like socks, so last night she threw them in the garbage. Sofia has never liked to have socks on, but it's so cold we have to keep putting them on. She does have slippers but they come off to easy. I think Santa will get her some new slippers. Sofia also has learned to climb into her highchair all by herself. When it's time to eat, all we have to say is its time to eat and she runs to the highchair and climbs in. She is getting so independent. Also I think a month or two back I wrote about the word NO. Well that's all Sofia says. You ask her a question and she says NO. It's her favorite word. We are trying to say everything but No. Sofia also has been slowing using the potty chair. She tells us when she needs a diaper change. When she wakes up from a nap, and is dry we put her on the potty chair and she goes. I really wasn't going to start potty training until spring. It's just so cold and with all the layers I thought it would be to hard. So we are not pushing her, we will continue to work at her pace.

Breakfast With Santa & Williams Tree Farm

On Saturday, we went to breakfast with Santa. Sofia liked the Santa. She walked up to him and was talking to him. But as soon as we tried to sit her on his lap she got a little upset. After breakfast we went to Williams to get our Christmas Tree. Sofia liked the sled grandpa made her. She had lots of fun at the tree farm. Brandon and Sofia colored a Christmas Card. I wanted the pink tree, but it was 135.00. They also had a pretty blue one, and a bears color one. Daddy wanted the bears one. The photo of all of us is the one we ended up cutting down and bringing home.

Sofia went to Grandma' and Grandpa's

After Sofia's nap we went to grandma and grandpa's. Alyssa was there. Grandpa had a lot of fun pulling the girls around the house in the box. Brody will have lots of fun with Grandpa. Sofia thought she could pull Alyssa, that didn't work. The boys even guard grandpa and grandma's house. The paper boy came so the boys had to bark and bark. Nothing gets by them!!! Oh Sofia needs a computer for Christmas. If Santa's reading the Blog!!!!!

Sofia's first snow day this year

I tried to get the boys and Sofia to pose for a picture. The boys wanted to fight. They also watched Sofia, so she didn't eat any yellow snow. Sofia fell a couple of times. She is not able to get up when she falls, so the boys go right over to her and tried to help her. Wrigley tried to take Sofia's gloves off. He does not like gloves for some reason.

Amnesty Graduated from CNA Class

Yesterday we went to my niece Amnesty graduation. She received her CNA Certificate. We are so proud of Amnesty. Tina had dinner and cake for all of us. Alyssa and Sofia had a lot of fun. They got Amnesty to chase them all around the house. I think they broke some windows with the screaming they did.
