"Questions"

I just wanted to share some of the questions we were asked. We were at a restaurant, and here are some of the questions that we were asked. We were shocked that we had so many questions and comments. I hope this is not a everyday event. I just can't believe some people.

This one was from a waitress (not even ours)
1) Are you there parents?
We said Yes
2) "Are they "REAL" brother and sister"
We said Yes.

Another waitress: (not even ours)
"Are they twins????"
What I wanted to say "do you see the size difference"
What I said was she is 3 and he's 1.

A customer asked us
"Are they "REAL" brother and sister."
We said Yes.
"Oh what are there names?"
We told them this is Sofia and Drew
"Oh they are sure cute"
Thank you

You answered so very nicely. Wow, three different people in the same resturant!

Wow! Three different people! I love your answers. I hope when I'm asked questions like that I can answer as well as you did.

We get asked every week if our boys are real brothers. We also have been asked several times if they are twins. Do they look alike??? I am glad I am not the only one who faces this all the time.

I have an article for you that you HAVE to read. It was in Wondertime Magazine a couple of months ago and was written by a father of child of a different race. He was so frustrated by the many questions he would receive from people. The writer is a comedian and it made me laugh so hard at his responses to people. Email me if you want me to send you a copy. (I would post it but don't want to violate copyright policies.)
