Playdate, Birthday, Baseball

This week we have been very busy. We had a play date with Nolan. He is sooo cute. Then we went to grandma and grandpa T's for grandpa's birthday. Sofia played with Brandon and the new golf cart. Sofia was helping daddy out in the police car. On Thursday night daddy had his baseball game. So we went to that. Aunt Julie met us at the game. We had fun. Daddy's team lost.

Sofia got a kitty

Today Sofia and I went to grandma and grandpa's house. When we pulled up Asa was looking for us. We were playing and grandma got a kitty statue down. Guess what Sofia did. She gave the statue some of her puffs and her sippy cup. Well grandma said that's it we have to get her a kitty. So off to the store we went. Grandma and Sofia had found 4 kitty's. Grandma asked Sofia which one she wanted. I could see this was going to take awhile. So we all sat on the floor with the kitty's all lined up. I asked Sofia which one did she want. Guess what she picked one up and kissed it. I said that must be the one. Well we couldn't leave with just one. Grandma needed one for her house too. So Sofia picked out a smaller one for grandma and grandpa's house. When we got back to grandma's Sam the really kitty was sitting on a plant stand and Sofia tried to give him her sippy cup. She hugs and kisses it. If daddy or I try to give it a hug she sure is over there taking it away from you. She told daddy my kitty and took it from him. Sofia took the kitty to bed tonight.

Weekend updates

On Friday we went to Culver's. Lifelink our adoption agency had a Culver's night. Only 4 families showed up. We had fun. Grandma and Grandpa showed up too. On Saturday we stayed at home. Daddy pulled Sofia around on the blanket. Thanks to Uncle Nick, Sofia loves going for rides on the blanket. We did go out for dinner on Saturday night. On Sunday, we went for breakfast. Sofia was the center of attention at the restaurant. A older man talked to her until he had to leave. Then a biker dude came in and he played peek A boo with Sofia. Another couple asked us about Sofia. She was a ham. She sure does have some faces. If only I could get them all on camera. Did you know today was national Ice cream day. Sofia did. She called grandpa to see if he would take her to get ice cream. Guess what grandpa is a push over when it comes to the grand kids. (ha ha) So we met grandpa and grandma for dinner and ice cream. Grandpa and Sofia shared everything tonight. He taught her how to dip the fries in ketchup. She even shared her sippy cup with grandpa. Oh I forgot Sofia likes banana's.

8 month Anniversary

Today marks 8 months since we have been home and Sofia turned 17 months. We all went out to lunch with Aunt Julie. We went to JMK nippons. When it comes to lunch with Aunt Julie there is only one place to go. After lunch daddy took Sofia home for her nap. Julie and I went out shopping. We waited until after Sofia's nap to come home. Aunt Julie stayed and played so of course I took photo's. Sorry Julie had to put the photo's on the blog. Sofia also got a new toy. It's made by leap frog. It's a farm magnet. She LOVES it. I think it's the best toy we have ever bought her.

Summer Fun

This weekend we had 2 parties. And Sofia found out how fun a sprinkler can be. Oh did she scream when the water came down on her. She laughed and had such a good time. We went to Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's on Sunday. They just got 3 kittens. Sofia loved the kittens. She was really good with them. Sofia knows how to Meow like the kittens.

Today Sofia and I went to grandma's and grandpa's house. Amnesty, Nico and Alyssa were there. The girls enjoyed the pool. Sofia likes giving Alyssa her sippy cup. Alyssa was standing all by herself in the pool. Way too go Alyssa. The girls get along well. Although sometimes one will get jealous of the other. Only when it comes to getting attention from grandma.

Happy 4th

Today we went to the Winnebago parade. We got lots of candy. Then we came home ate lunch and took a nap. (Sofia and Daddy) After their nap we took the boys for a walk. Sofia was a little firecracker who didn't want her picture taken can you tell. Daddy and I stayed up and watched the fireworks. Sofia was in bed by 8:00

We were under the weather

We all have had colds this past week. So not much to post on the blog. On Monday we felt a little better. Today Sofia got some chalk and she made pretty pictures. So I had time to brush the boys. We could make two dogs out of the hair that came out of Ty. Sofia loves her brothers. She loves to give kisses.

Busy Weekend

Update on this weekend. On Friday Sofia,Alyssa,Aunt Tina and I took grandma out for breakfast. Sofia ate all grandmas sausage. Alyssa had some watermelon. On Saturday night we went to sabrossa to eat. Alyssa liked the food. On Sunday Lifelink had a picnic. WE had lots of fun. The dad's liked going down the moving slide, I think more then the girls did. I took lots of photo's, but can only post a few. After the picnic we came home and took a nap. Then it was off to Beef A Roo. For family night. Sofia was taking grandma home. Or should we call her G MA. That's what Sofia says when she sees a photo of grandma.

Birthday Birthday and Goodbye

Grandma and Wrigley celebrated their birthday's today. We went to grandma's house and played. Then we came home for lunch and a nap. After our nap we took Wrigley to the pet store to pick out a toy. When we got home we went for a wagon ride with the boys. I hope every one's birthday wish comes true. Tonight we went out to eat with Jenn and Kevin. We had a good time. Found out Jenn's birthday was Tuesday. Happy late birthday. Kevin is leaving on Sunday. So we said our goodbyes. Sofia gave Kevin a big kiss.

Bath Time Reflection

Tonight while I was giving Sofia a bath, Sofia notice that the faucet had a reflection of a baby in it. I asked her if she saw the baby. She look at me and said baby. Then look back at the faucet and leaned over and kissed it. I laughed so hard. I told daddy to come in and see what she was doing. She continued to kiss the reflection and say baby. Of course we were both laughing so much that we forgot the camera.
