Shopping Shopping

On Friday Sofia and I went up to grandma and grandpa's to play, while daddy slept. After her nap we went shopping. Only Sofia didn't get anything only the boys did. Today we just played and napped. Tonight grandma and grandpa took us to Taco Bell and Target. This was Sofia first time at Taco Bell. She liked the rice. Sofia help grandpa fill the shopping cart. (Grandma helped Sofia pick out stuff to put in the cart) Sofia wanted to say a few things to grandma and grandpa. First thank you. XOXO Will have to do it again sometime, it was alot of fun. Love you Sofia. And Be Back!!!! She loves saying Be Back. It's so cute.

Doctor & Grandma and Grandpa Visit

Today Sofia went for her 18mo checkup. She weighed 23lb. 2oz. Her length was 32inches. She is in the 30% for weight and 55% for length. The nurse asked us if she was a good eater. We told her yes. Tonight Grandma and Grandpa came over. They played with Sofia. Sofia had her first taste of corn on the cob. Boy did she like it. I also baked cupcakes. She liked the frosting and then she gave the rest to daddy. Sofia would rather eat tomato's then the cupcake. Maybe that's why she is only in the 30% for weight. She likes healthy foods.

The start of a Busy week!!!

Sofia and I played in the sprinkler on Monday. She had so much fun. She loves the water.
On Tuesday, we played upstairs. We were playing lets go shopping. I told her we needed money to buy all the stuff she put in her cart. Her responds was OH. (Grandpa Sofia is learning how to fill the cart. Watch out) We had mamma's home cooking for dinner. After dinner it was bath time.
On Wednesday, Daddy took us to lunch. We had Sofia's 18mos photo taken today. The last photo is the dress she wore in the pictures.

Weekend Update

Daddy, Sofia and I went to the Fair again on Sat. Kayla walked around with us. She is out at the fair working.
When we got to Culver's Sofia had fallen asleep. She wouldn't wake up. I had to take this photo. But as soon as the food came she was up. Sofia would rather eat a tomato then Ice Cream

Sofia turned 18 mos today.

Today Sofia turned 18 months. We have been home 9 months. We wanted to share somethings we have learned about our daughter.
Sofia's Favorites

Favorite Toy: Meow Meow

Favorite Food: Cheerios, Tomato's, Italian, Mexican, etc. She loves everything and anything you try to feed her. The girl can eat.

Favorite Restaurant: Olive Garden, Saborossa, JMK, Beef A Roo

Favorite Thing to do: Dance. She will dance to any music including commercials and Lawrence Welk. (That's right Lawrence Welk) She also will give and say "Five". When someone comes over that is one of the first things she wants to do.

Favorite TV show: Elmo

Favorite DVD, CD: Backyardigans

Sofia's Personality at 18mos. (I say at 18mos because it could and will change)
She loves to snuggle
She is Loving, Caring, Talkative, Strong Willed, Smart, Independent, and Yes a "Drama Queen".
One of Sofia's new word is NO NO with a finger. I know that means we are all in trouble when child repeats that word. Luckily we have only heard no no a couple of times. I think Daddy, I, Grandma and Aunt Tina are the only ones who have heard it. (So Far)

Today Sofia and I went to grandma and grandpa's. We let daddy get some sleep. He is working alot of hours this week. Alyssa was there. Boy is she getting around. She walked from the living room to the kitchen by herself. Sofia and Alyssa love the rocking Chair. They think they can both sit in it. Grandpa's chair is the best. They played and played. Tonight grandma and grandpa came over to fix the fence. Ty got out again. Sofia helped grandpa by getting the tools he needed to fix the fence. Can you say plumber's Butt. Grandma and I supervised. After all the hard work we came inside and had pizza.

Boone County Fair

Today Sofia, Aunt Julie and I went to the fair. We found daddy, and cousin Kayla. Sofia had her first fair hot dog and carmel apple. She didn't go on any rides. I don't think fair rides are safe. We had alot of fun.

New Potty Chair

Today Daddy, Sofia and I went shopping. We got Sofia a potty chair. The one we picked out you can use as a step Stool. It also has storage bins for her own toilet paper, and whatever else she wants to put in the bins.

The Chase is On!!!

Today, Sofia and I played outside before it got to hot. We had some visitors today. Grandma and Grandpa came. Tonight Aunt Tina and Alyssa came by. Aunt Tina came to get a photo of Sofia to put in a contest. I gave her 6 different photo and told her to pick. Daddy and I couldn't pick they were all so good. She is going to let me know which one she is going to put in the contest. I picked the one I liked for Alyssa. It's so fun to see the girls interact. Alyssa will crawl and chase Sofia. Then Sofia will chase Alyssa. They can scream so high I think they could break glass.

Brandon's first Birthday

Today Sofia and daddy went to Brandon's birthday party. Sofia played on the play set with Great Grandma and Grandpa. They had alot of fun seeing cousins they don't see that often. Even though it rained. The photo with Sofia, daddy, Brandon and Grandpa was taking in Grandpa's race car trailer. Tonight Grandma and Grandpa stopped by.

The start of Sofia's busy weekend

The photo of Sofia with the Lifelink update was taken by daddy. He said she was study up on the different countries you can adopt from. (Maybe she knows something we don't) Today Sofia and I went to grandma and grandpa's to visit with Alyssa. I think Sofia has grown six inches in a week. Grandma has a play broom and dust pan. Oh did Sofia like that. She helped grandma sweep the kitchen floor. Grandma told Sofia to have mom show her how to ride the broom. (grandma thinks moms a witch.) Sofia and Alyssa were dancing to the music. Sofia loves to dance. We need to get her into dance school. Tonight I made homemade mac N cheese. Oh did she love that. She ate a whole bowl full.

Sofia is a little copy cat

Sofia has been doing everything I do. She loves to copy us. I found Sofia trying to clean Wrigley's ears one day. We really have to watch what we say and do. She is picking up everything. Sofia is becoming a little Mellissa. I know that will scare some people. She also thinks she can eat with a spoon. She wants us to put the food on the spoon for her. I didn't post photo from the weekend so they are included in today's post. Sofia loves to dance. The last photo is of today. Grandma let her borrow the Backyard DVD. Grandma and Grandpa came over last night. Sofia was running around giving everyone Five. That's something new she learned this week. It's so cute how she says Five. The other photo is of Aunt Tina she is a lucky girl Sofia will shared her meow meow with her.
