Boone County Fair

Today Sofia, Aunt Julie and I went to the fair. We found daddy, and cousin Kayla. Sofia had her first fair hot dog and carmel apple. She didn't go on any rides. I don't think fair rides are safe. We had alot of fun.

New Potty Chair

Today Daddy, Sofia and I went shopping. We got Sofia a potty chair. The one we picked out you can use as a step Stool. It also has storage bins for her own toilet paper, and whatever else she wants to put in the bins.

The Chase is On!!!

Today, Sofia and I played outside before it got to hot. We had some visitors today. Grandma and Grandpa came. Tonight Aunt Tina and Alyssa came by. Aunt Tina came to get a photo of Sofia to put in a contest. I gave her 6 different photo and told her to pick. Daddy and I couldn't pick they were all so good. She is going to let me know which one she is going to put in the contest. I picked the one I liked for Alyssa. It's so fun to see the girls interact. Alyssa will crawl and chase Sofia. Then Sofia will chase Alyssa. They can scream so high I think they could break glass.

Brandon's first Birthday

Today Sofia and daddy went to Brandon's birthday party. Sofia played on the play set with Great Grandma and Grandpa. They had alot of fun seeing cousins they don't see that often. Even though it rained. The photo with Sofia, daddy, Brandon and Grandpa was taking in Grandpa's race car trailer. Tonight Grandma and Grandpa stopped by.

The start of Sofia's busy weekend

The photo of Sofia with the Lifelink update was taken by daddy. He said she was study up on the different countries you can adopt from. (Maybe she knows something we don't) Today Sofia and I went to grandma and grandpa's to visit with Alyssa. I think Sofia has grown six inches in a week. Grandma has a play broom and dust pan. Oh did Sofia like that. She helped grandma sweep the kitchen floor. Grandma told Sofia to have mom show her how to ride the broom. (grandma thinks moms a witch.) Sofia and Alyssa were dancing to the music. Sofia loves to dance. We need to get her into dance school. Tonight I made homemade mac N cheese. Oh did she love that. She ate a whole bowl full.

Sofia is a little copy cat

Sofia has been doing everything I do. She loves to copy us. I found Sofia trying to clean Wrigley's ears one day. We really have to watch what we say and do. She is picking up everything. Sofia is becoming a little Mellissa. I know that will scare some people. She also thinks she can eat with a spoon. She wants us to put the food on the spoon for her. I didn't post photo from the weekend so they are included in today's post. Sofia loves to dance. The last photo is of today. Grandma let her borrow the Backyard DVD. Grandma and Grandpa came over last night. Sofia was running around giving everyone Five. That's something new she learned this week. It's so cute how she says Five. The other photo is of Aunt Tina she is a lucky girl Sofia will shared her meow meow with her.

Play date, Shopping, Softball

Today we went to the mall, with Alyssa and Amnesty. They opened a new playground. The girls also went shopping. They wanted to know where the credit card was. (Grandpa) ha ha. Remember fill the shopping cart?? Then we went out to the sportscore and watched the US vs China. Jenn met us out there. Jenn chased Sofia around. Daddy used his charm and Sofia and got them to take a photo with her. They also signed the softball. (Jenn knows what we went through to get it) We could have gotten the whole team to sign the ball but it was getting late and it started to rain.

Sofia's little date book is getting full!!!

Today we went to grandma and grandpa's to drop off a CD. Then we were off to lunch with Aunt Julie, Jill, Bryce and Kyele. We went to JMK. Bryce was such a gentleman. He tried to kiss Sofia. But she was acting shy. They shared ice cream. Aunt Jill tried to feed Sofia the ice cream, but she won't take it from her. Bryce gave Sofia his spoon and she took it from him. So cute. Grandma said she was putting a end to these DATES. Sofia is too young. This week has been jammed pack with activities. We still have the weekend.

Play date with Cousin Alyssa

Today Alyssa came over to play. The girl's had a good time. Sofia was willing to share her meow meow with Aunt Tina but Alyssa was not so lucky. Alyssa is trying to walk. Alyssa needs to having someone or something to hold her up so she can walk. Alyssa thought Sofia should walk her around as you can tell Sofia's shirt got pulled off by Alyssa. Sofia was showing Alyssa how you climb into the crib. They both crawled all over the house chasing each other. When it was time to leave they gave each other kisses. Sofia slept 2 hours. Alyssa took a long nap also. Sofia want Alyssa to come back soon.

Swimming

Today I took Sofia over to Aunt Tina's house to go swimming. There neighbors have a in ground pool. Alyssa and Sofia got to swim together. After Swimming we came home and ate dinner. We took the boys for a walk, then we went and got ice cream. The ice cream shop gave the boys mini ice cream cones for free. I forgot to mention at the outlet mall we met 2 families that adopted from china. One family named there daughter Sofia and spelled it the same as us. It was nice meeting the families. Meow Meow is going everywhere with Sofia. Yesterday morning when I went in to get Sofia she had meow meow under her arm ready to get out. If you ask her where Meow Meow is she will go and get him. It's so cute. She loves her Meow Meow.

Busy weekend

We had another busy weekend, but that's OK. We went to grandma and grandpa T's house on Saturday. They got a new play set. Sofia liked playing on it. She also feed the fish in the pond. And tried to eat the fish food. On Sunday, Sofia and I went to grandma and grandpa's house. They took us to the Olive Garden. Look at the bowl of pasta Sofia got. And she ate all of it. She loves her food. After lunch we went shopping at Johnson Creek outlet. They have a lot of baby stores there. (Carters, gymboree, little me, gap for kids, The children's place)just to name a few. We did end up buy a few things. We have to go back.

Playdate, Birthday, Grandma and Grandpa

(I had to add another photo of Nolan) Today, We went on another play date. We met Aunt Julie, Bryce and Kyele at Alpine park. We had a lot of fun. Then we went out for lunch. Bryce and Sofia were on their first date. They shared chicken fingers and fries. Today is Aunt Julie's birthday. After lunch we came home and took a nap. Grandma and Grandpa surprised us with a visit. We all went outside and played. I think Sofia will sleep very good. I might get to sleep in tomorrow. PS I wish I could post more pictures.
